District Performance

Federal and state requirements include regular and standardized assessments for students attending public schools. Students in third-grade through ninth-grade are assessed using the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP). In 2007, 11th-grade students were assessed with the Michigan Merit Exam (MME).

Explanation of AYP  
AYP stands for Adequatly Yearly Progress. It is how the State of Michigan measure school performance as mandated under the Federal No Child Left Behind Act.

In 2006-2007 our graduation rate was 96.58 percent.

The district's retention rate was 96.47 percent.

Increased sections of FULL-TIME Kindergarten, district wide.  Over 80% of kindergarten sections will be Full Time.
