Joseph M. Carkenord Elementary School provides a caring, creative and challenging place to learn.

Improvement Plan

As part of our school improvement plan, we developed goals in the academic areas of language arts and math. We are continuing to collect and analyze our data to improve instruction and student achievement.

Goals

All students will be reading at or above grade level by the end of third-grade.

All students will increase proficiency in written language as measured by the

criteria of the writing rubric, which demonstrates state expectations.

All students will be proficient with basic math facts.

Staffing:
