Improvement Plan

We are in year three of a three-year plan.

Goals

Reading Goal:

All students will improve comprehension skills through the implementation of consistent strategies that can be applied to a variety of genre.

Writing Goal:

All students will become more proficient by applying the traits of content, ideas, organization, style and voice, and conventions in their writing.

Math Goal:

All students will improve their knowledge of mathematical strands through use of appropriate written and technological forms.

 

Staffing:

L’Anse Creuse employs staff that is nurturing and has a genuine desire to see students achieve their highest potential. All teaching staff meet highly qualified standards as set forth by the No Child Left Behind federal legislation. In addition, Chesterfield Elementary School employs:

20 staff with a master’s degree

1 staff with a master’s degree in social work

2 staff with an education specialist’s degree
