School Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide an environment that supports students, staff and parents as a united community of learners.

Staffing:
L’Anse Creuse is proud that it employs staff that is nurturing with a genuine desire to see students achieve their highest potential. All teaching staff meet highly qualified standards as set forth by the No Child Left Behind federal legislation. In addition, Marie C. Graham Elementary School employs:

11 staff with a master’s degree
2 staff with an education specialist’s degree

School Improvement Goals

English Language Arts:
Students will increase their ability to demonstrate the reading-writing connections with respect to comprehension skills and the relevancy to writing.

Strategies: Applying themes to reading and writing, using mentor texts, focusing on relevant details, use of restructured day time to collaborate and monitor student achievement.

Math:
Students will increase their ability to demonstrate an understanding of math concepts and their real world applications.

Strategies: Use grade level math concepts to solve real world problems, use of restructured day time to collaborate and monitor student achievement.

Science:
Students will increase their ability to demonstrate an understanding of  science concepts and real world applications.

Strategies: Use grade level scientific concepts to demonstrate how they impact
our daily lives, use of restructured day time to collaborate and monitor
student achievement.

Social Studies:
Students will increase their academic performance in social studies perspectives.

Strategies: Use grade level social studies concepts and express how they impact our daily lives, use of  restructured day time to collaborate and monitor student achievement.
