• Safety Patrol
Fifth-grade students who demonstrate responsible behavior are given jobs helping younger students at arrival and dismissal times.

These are opportunities for students to take virtual field trips. Students can visit NASA, Toledo Zoo, and speak to the authors of books they have read.

Each year our fifth-grade students research a career they are interested in. In the spring, they create a poster board and dress as they would need to in their chosen profession to present their information to younger students.
