Francis A. Higgins Elementary School has 547 students enrolled for the 2007-2008 school year.

Francis A. Higgins Elementary School opened its doors on September 5, 1995, and was dedicated on October 15, 1995. It is a beautiful facility situated on a sprawling campus adjacent to L’Anse Creuse Middle School - East. The school contains 25 classrooms with an aggregate total of 66,000 square feet. It also contains state-of-the-art technological resources for all students.

Francis A. Higgins Elementary School is a very special school indeed. The entire staff is committed to provide each student with the best possible education. We sincerely want each student to enjoy happiness, challenge and success throughout each day. It is our hope that as students grow academically, they will become enriched in truth, honesty, sincerity of character and be willing to serve their school and community.
