School Mission Statement
Students of L’Anse Creuse Middle School - North will grow intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially in a safe, positive environment with the support of staff, parents and community.

Improvement Plan
Since budget cuts have forced our school district to discontinue its involvement with the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA-CASI), our staff has continued on its own the efforts to improve student performance in the four areas of our core curriculum. These goals are listed here.

Goals
Our goal areas are the following: 

English Language Arts Goal:
All students will improve their ability to determine the meanings of words and phrases in a variety of contexts based on word study.
 
Mathematics Goal:
All students will be able to explain mathematical reasoning in verbal and written form.

Science Goal: All students will improve their ability to draw an accurate conclusion based on investigative data.

Social Studies Goal:
All students will improve their understanding of historical eras and events through the use of timelines.  

Staffing
L’Anse Creuse is proud that it employs staff that is nurturing with a genuine desire to see students achieve their highest potential. All teaching staff meet highly qualified standards as set forth by the No Child Left Behind federal legislation. In addition,

2 staff with Master’s  Degree plus 15 hours
4 staff with Education Specialist’s Degree
