School Mission Statement
The Lobbestael staff will promote an environment where all students learn, achieve and succeed.

Improvement Plan 
The 2007-2008 school improvement plan goals were based on the analyses of Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) results and needs assessments of individual students. Strategies have been implemented to assist students in reaching the goals.

Goals
1. All students will show growth in written expression.

2. All students will show or surpass a year’s growth in reading.

Staffing
L’Anse Creuse is proud that it employs staff that is nurturing with a genuine desire to see students achieve their highest potential. All teaching staff meet highly qualified standards as set forth by the No Child Left Behind federal legislation. In addition, Emma V. Lobbestael Elementary School employs:
