To meet the challenges of a highly technical society, the Pankow Center includes a Math/Science/Technology Center that develops very motivated students in an innovative, advanced placement and four-year collegepreparatory curriculum. Students begin in their common or “cohort” group and remain together throughout their four years of high school, creating connections with like-minded individuals.
The program:
integrates and applies science, mathematics and technology in an enriched educational environment; emphasizes problem-solving and criticalthinking approaches to teaching and learning; includes student-driven scientific research with applied mathematics; and incorporates interesting, yet challenging, mathematics, science and technology curriculum with a connection to the community, business and local industry.
Ninth-grade students begin with courses in Geometry, Biology and Technology that are enriching and implement uniquely styled instructional practices that fully engage the student’s senses.
Tenth-grade students move on to Algebra II and Chemistry.Active lessons with a critical-thinking focus, leading to authentic solutions, are integrated into each cross-curricular course.
Upper classmen will have the opportunity to take advanced placement classes at the Pankow Center.

AP Physics
AP Statistics
Science labs and mathematics classrooms at the Pankow Center are state-of-the-art. These uniquely designed classrooms offer students the best environment to do the most difficult work.
